We are Gene and Janine Wozny. After finding it very difficult to convert to living an earth friendly lifestyle, we founded The Cool Planet. We couldn’t find a one-stop shop with all the products we needed to live green. Many hours and gallons of gas were spent trying to locate and purchase the environmentally sound items we needed for our personal consumption, home renovations and new baby. The time and effort we were exerting left us discouraged. It had to be easier to live green.

And so The Cool Planet was born! The Cool Planet's goal is to help others and ourselves to live a green, sustainable lifestyle and help fight global warming effortlessly!

The products you'll find here are selected for the earth friendly values that will help us be active in the fight against Global warming. We have tried to look at the educational value as well as the impact the products place on our environment today and in the future. When selecting products, we consider their impact on the planet from production to packaging and shipping. The Cool Planet's aim is to offer organic, repurposed and Fair Trade products from local manufacturers, when possible, so we can keep our footprint small.
